Playing The Hand You’re Dealt

There comes a time in life when you just have to accept what is and move forward, when you just have to suck it up and play the hand you’ve been dealt. 

In this issue I explore what has been the hardest work I have ever undertaken and begin to introduce it to my readers. You are going to see images I created as self portraits and used to create a deck of Oracle Cards. It is a rare opportunity to look at me through my eyes instead of yours.

There is another original installment of Diorama Madness tackling the rise of AI technologies in juxtaposition to Eastern Philosophies and Western Thought. Limited edition T-shirts featuring a frame from this strip are available to purchase on the new website, 1uvmonthlymagazine.net.

The featured poem this month is the piece that inspired the tone of my new series of work and it deals with gnostic belief and themes of the divine feminine.

Then, in the next two chapters of Brave Enough, Lettie is faced with returning to her roots, something she thought she had left behind her forever, to confront the growing mystery of the stalker style poems she has been receiving in the mail.

Also included in this stacked issue is the first “Letter TO the Editor” 1UV MONTHLY has received. I am happy to receive ANY and ALL feedback on the topics covered between the covers.

And finally, the other bit of new information you will find is a copy of the agreement to receive ReiKi and/or Spiritual Consultation at 1UV Gallery Studio. I wanted to take the mystery out of what the service is all about and how seriously I take my role as Spiritual Guidance and Support. 

I know. It’s a lot.
